The pony days are suitable for children aged up to 12yrs who are confident staying for the day without parents. 

Arrive at 9am and pick up is at 1pm. 

Previous riding experience is helpful, but not necessary. Children will need to come dressed appropriately for riding, and day full of activities bearing in mind they may get a bit mucky! Children will need to come with a packed lunch including plenty to drink. 

During the day children come to learn about riding and different aspects of looking after and handling the ponies. Children will have a riding lesson and the remaining time will be spent doing hands on activities and games to learn about stable management and riding theory. 

Those whom are current Pony Club members will be consistently assessed towards the Progressive tests certificates & mini achievement badges will be issued when members fulfil a relevant badge criteria.
